Tehachapi Pass Railroad Line - 36 Trains Run a day on this loop in the mountains in Kern County, south-central California. Boyd's mom and dad traveled out west in the 1930's from Tennessee to find work near this railroad loop and would often visit the loop for entertainment. We got to the loop just in time to see a train pass over itself. So neat to see.
The bridge over the Hoover Dam was dedicated to Pat Tillman, An American professional football player and war hero. He died in the mountains of Afghanistan in 2004.
