Grant's Pass, Oregon, Mt Shasta, CA, Yosemite National Park, CA

Oct. 5-9

Hard to find internet at a lot of the campgrounds, that will work fast enough to down load pictures.  I have tried for days to post on blog.

Finally starting to see some fall color in the Grants Pass Oregon camp ground.

Knitting along the way

It was quite a treat to be riding along and this beautiful snow covered mountain appeared.  We started taking pictures from far off and we finally got close enough to get a good shot.  Mt Shasta is a volcano  that first erupted in 1915.

A pretty church on our way to Yosemite National Park

This fellow lived at the campground about four miles out side of park

Sad statistics of forest fires in the Yosemite National Park

Trees burned on many acres

Pilot of tanker plane crashed the day we went into the park.  As we went up the mountain we could see fire burning.

More smoke

Inside the Yosemite...   6000 ft

Amazing!!!

Sequoia Tree in the park
