Sept 25 and 26
Yesterday morning we left Boerne, Texas on Hwy 10 heading west. It was a day of driving instead of sight seeing. It is amazing how the landscape changes along the way. I saw about ten deer standing up on a cliff, couldn't get the camera out fast enough to snap a photo.
We stayed last night at the Mountain View RV park in Van Horn, Texas.
And we drove through New Mexico and into Arizona today. I had never been to New Mexico. We ate some good barbeque in El Paso. This city is huge.
We stopped at a souvenir shop in New Mexico to buy a Christmas ornament. We collect them during our travels and it is sure fun to reminisce when we decorate the tree. The front of the store was pretty neat!
Tonight we are staying 40 miles from Tucson, AZ.
